Regional Sales Director
Sales, U.S. & Canada

Objective

Specific Accountability
Strong leadership skills and a drive for results are required to:
- achieve profitable sales growth through executing sales strategies
- communicate vision and strategies to sales leaders in the field
- conduct planning sessions with sales leaders and work closely with the field to ensure effective implementation of strategies
- motivate and guide the Sales Force to achieve personal and Company goals
- promote field recruiting by recruiting, motivating, developing and recognizing Sales Force members and sales leaders
- act as liaison with the Company and the field
- travel extensively (75%)
Education and Experience
We're looking for an experienced sales leader with the passion to communicate a vision and inspire others to achieve it. The successful candidate will have proven experience as a visible leader able to set goals, create accountabilities and motivate the field. A high degree of leading with integrity and trust is essential.
Special Skills
Additional requirements include:
- 5 - 7 years of related experience as a sales leader, preferably in direct selling, plus Bachelors degree in related field
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including listening, influencing and facilitating
- strong customer focus and service-orientation
- excellent follow-up skills; must be disciplined and well-organized with the ability to plan, prepare and structure visits to the field
- ability to apply diagnostics and metrics to assess results and determine appropriate actions
- excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- flexibility; able to adapt to change while leading others through change
- Current US work authorization is required. The successful candidate may be required to relocate within the United States.
