* CollegeAmerica is a 529 college savings plan — named after the section of the Internal Revenue Code that created them — sponsored by the Virginia College Savings Plan and featuring the American Funds. Account owners do not have to live in Virginia to invest, and their beneficiaries can go to school in any state.
The CollegeAmerica new account application may be filled out on the computer and printed. However, those changes cannot be saved without the full version of Adobe Acrobat, which must be purchased. We recommend you print two copies of your completed application and keep one for your records.
