A Taste of Tupperware
Party Experiences, Part 2

Creating a Party Experience

A Taste of Tupperware combines Serve-It-Up tips to create the experience, with careful planning to make it run smoothly.

Important Points to Remember:

• Use key words like easy, simple, and delicious.

• Always test your recipes before the party.

• The recommended time format for A Taste of Tupperware party is 1 hour.

• Flag the major product categories in the catalog for use during the party. (FridgeSmart ® containers, Rock 'N Serve ® containers, etc.).

• Pack your Business Kit bag with the products you will need for the selected recipes. Take one Purchase With Purchase (PWP), a set you've put together, and pieces of a Host Gift Special (HGS) if you like, but don't overwhelm yourself or the party guests with too much product.

Using Serve-It-Up Tips to Create an Experience

Remember... a Serve-It-Up tip is like the icing on the cake. It is that added little touch or idea that makes a recipe, meal or decoration special. Serve-It-Up tips can be found in the:

• Party Guide Grid (page 4-18)

• Recipe Booklets

• A Taste of Tupperware 2-DVD set

They make you look like a pro and give guests useful ideas to take home! Ideas and solutions are just another service you can offer to your guests!

Don't forget to plan out your Serve-It-Up tips before your party. All these things will capture your guests' interest and get them talking right away, drawing them into the spirit of fun and interaction from the very beginning!

How would you use Serve-It-Up tips at your party experience?

Party Format
The Taste of Tupperware party format is designed to last about 1 hour, including your dating and recruiting messages (interwoven with all the other activities), recipe preparation, and product Features, Advantages and Benefits (FAB).

Other activities (e. g., auctions and games) are generally not recommended — the fun of food preparation and tasting is all you need!

Prepare for the Party
Arrive at least a half-hour early to greet your Host, set up your product display and review the 30-minute final prep checklist below. A Taste of Tupperware party concept works best if held in a kitchen, but sometimes you may need to set up in a nearby room. If so, ask your Host to be your "kitchen runner" to and from the oven/ microwave.

30-minute Final Prep Check:

• Do I have all the ingredients for the recipes we are preparing?

• Do I need any baking pans, potholders, paper towels?

• Have I filled the sink with hot soapy water to clean as I go?

• Have I preheated the oven and positioned the rack properly?

• Did I set up the products in order of use, with ingredients?

• Do I have my Party Guide Grid, Recipe Booklet, Catalog and Monthly Flyer?

• Do I have antibacterial wipes or a place for hand washing?

• Have I set the mood and engaged all 5 senses?

• Do I have the Serve-It-Up tips that support this party experience?

• Did I place the food to be used into Tupperware ® products?
