About the Release

PCX Release 3.50 may be installed anytime upon receipt. However, we recommend you install the release after End-of-Week Processing for Week 35 upon printing your necessary reports. This is because the release affects the following:

• Manager On-Pace Report—This report will now correctly track car/cash qualifications based on the new levels beginning in September. Because of the lower car/cash qualifications in August, you may still have to manually determine your car/cash qualifiers in September. By October, Managers with two months of consecutive Vanguard sales of $5000/$7000 will be shown as qualified for Executive/Sr. Executive status.

• Manager Status Report—This report will now correctly track Car Co-pay and Cash Awards beginning with Week 36 (the first week of the September Vanguard).

• Executive Manager - Vehicle Option 1—Although the option to select a Neon automobile goes away as of September, the system will still allow you to select Option 1, Executive Manager - Vehicle, within Change Manager Status File Maintenance, until End-of-Week Processing for Week 37. (This option is only applicable if you did not perform Manager Status Maintenance for Executive Managers who qualified in August.)

Before You Begin

Please note the following:

• Before you receive the release on Wednesday, September 4, 2002, be sure to perform a Before-Going-Home backup on Tuesday, September 3, 2002.
  
  

• Run Morning Start-up on Wednesday, September 4, 2002. During Morning Start-up, your system will automatically pick up the release.
